Die Messer werden mit Pulverpartikeln auf Wolframkarbid-Basis mit Überschallgeschwindigkeit von bis zu 1.600 m/s auf das Bauteil aufgebracht und beim Aufprall durch kinetische Energie verfestigt. Die entstehende Beschichtung zeichnet sich durch eine hohe Härte sowie eine sehr gute Beständigkeit gegenüber Abrieb und Korrosion aus. Ideal für Anwendungen mit höchsten mechanischen und abrasiven Belastungen.
